David Spurdens Links Up With Canon Australia
David has been shooting with Canon cameras and lenses for years, from the original F1 and 400mm F2.8 (manuel version) to the Canon D1 to various upgrades of the ‘D’ series to the Canon C300 Mark 3 and many more! So when the oppotunity came through Trygve Jackson and Jake Halfhyde of Canon Australia to go back to Canon, David went straight to the C400 and the RF ‘L’ lenses. A stunning camera the C400 has everything any filmmaker could wish for, a beautiful 6K image, triple base ISO, RAW, internal ND’s, great audio package, the versitile RF mount, a very usable form factor, open gate for shooting 16:9, 9:16 anbd 3:4 formats at the same time, a clear and comprehensive menu system and great weather proofing. It does everything very well and after a few months with the camera I can say hand on heart, it’s awesome for all shoots. David has extensive experiance on Red, Sony and Arri too so can operate any camera the client requires.
